Honey bees and bumblebees are the most common bees in Calgary and are essential to the pollination and health of vegetation. While they are typically not aggressive, they can be territorial and their stings can be lethal for those allergic.

Bees usually live in large colonies, creating nests for their young (and creating that tasty honey we all know!) but can also burrow and nest under wood surfaces such as roofs, decks and even in the dirt!

For proper removal of a bees nest, you will need the help of a trained, licensed professional.
